Here are the glimpses of Customer Meet 2011 held in our Division on 29-11-2011.
Customer Meet should have been a grand success if Chief Guests- District Collector, Bagalkot and Supdt. of Police, Bagalkot; and President- Director of Postal Services, Dharwad were present. But they were too busy that they could attend the function though they are invited well in advance. They made it dull show by being absent to the function. They even did not show courtesy to send an apology message to the public. The function would have been meaningful if our own departmental DPS was present, at-least.
Good thing is few of the Public became President and Guests of the function. They helped to serve the very purpose of the function. Famous local doctor and college lecturer became guests and Supdt. of Posts, GokakDn. preside over the function and all together brought a charm to the function. The matters/concerns pointed by guests and public are appreciable and adoptable. Here are few ideas/concerns thrown up by the customer.
a. Motor Cycle to Postman
b. Qualitative and Safe bag to Postman
c. Sale of Revenue Stamps in Post Offices
d. Service should be an Attitude
Points to be worked upon:
a. Only BNPL customers were invited and general public were not given that much importance.
b. Inviting DC of SP was not worth.
